Why we wear green and black

Shamrock nights, Westfield pride, and the quiet rules that make the Rocks feel like one club from Learn to Play through Varsity.

Green and black aren’t just colors on a sweater. They’re how families find each other in a Skadium lobby packed with Hamilton County hockey, and how alumni know the section is still loud when they come back for a Friday night.

Championship culture here means education, personal development, teamwork, and sportsmanship — the same line you’ll see on the homepage. It shows up when older players help with tape, when parents run the door shift without drama, and when the bench stays locked in after a tough period.

We skate primarily in Carmel today and aim toward Grand Park ice later. The crest doesn’t wait for a new address. Westfield Ice Rocks means the standard travels with the bus.

New families: start on About and Programs, then Recruiting if your skater is still on a feeder path. The blog will keep telling the club story between game nights.
