History

How we got here

Championships

State hardware on the shelf

Westfield Ice Rocks Hockey is the 2024 1A State Runner-Up and the 2026 JV State Champions — proof that club hockey here competes for banners, not just ice time.

Founding years

Westfield finds its sheet

Westfield Hockey Club formed so local kids could play high-school club hockey without leaving Hamilton County culture behind. Early seasons stacked travel ice, borrowed benches, and a lot of parent miles.

Identity

Ice Rocks take the crest

The Ice Rocks brand — shamrock green, black, and ice — became the public face of Varsity and JV. Instagram @westfieldicerocks turned game nights into a shared town feed.

ISHSHA

League nights that matter

Competing in the Indiana State High School Hockey Association put Westfield on a real schedule against Indiana high school club programs. Families cover travel and lodging beyond league fees so the Rocks can chase every opponent on the map.

Home ice ahead

Grand Park on the horizon

Until Westfield’s own ice opens near Grand Park (~2028), the Rocks train and compete primarily at Carmel Ice Skadium and Pop Weaver. The countdown is progressive — not a promise date.
