THE FINAL. profiled Westfield junior Brady Lemieux after a four-goal night in an 8–1 victory over HSE B — half the Rocks’ offense and enough to name him Player of the Week. Head Coach Tyler Hebert had challenged him before puck drop to worry less about the scoreboard and more about generating shots from high-danger areas; Lemieux bought in, even if four goals made the process look easy from the stands.

The piece traces a hockey life that started at three watching Penguins hockey on TV, through Racers, Indy Fuel, and Indiana Elite AAA, a 16U roster cut that pushed him to AA and a position change from defense to forward, and eventually back to AAA before he chose Westfield for his final two high school seasons.

Lemieux told THE FINAL. playing for the Ice Rocks means more than ice time — school connection, the coaching staff, and helping build a program other schools take seriously. Hebert calls him a momentum player who leads by compete and is already pulling younger Shamrocks toward that standard.

Off the sheet, Lemieux pole vaulted to a top-10 finish at the IHSAA state meet as a sophomore, runs a car-detailing business with friends, and is working toward a commercial pilot’s license. The through-line in the story is the same one Hebert sees weekly: small, controllable challenges instead of waiting on distant results.
