Spring showcase notes: compete travels
A look back at spring ice — what held up under pressure, what JV carried forward, and how summer clinics keep edges sharp before Fall tryouts.

Spring hockey isn’t a second season for its own sake. For Ice Rocks athletes it is a proving ground: shorter benches, unfamiliar barns, and compete that doesn’t care about your fall jersey number.
Coaches came away noting pace through the neutral zone and second-effort habits on the defensive side. Those themes feed summer clinic plans and the first weeks of Fall evaluation skates at Ice Skadium.
Parents: spring results don’t lock Varsity spots. They inform development conversations. Keep an eye on Programs for camp windows and on Schedule once the sample ISHSHA slate firms up.
